Noel Coward's Christmas Spirits - St James Studio

Noel Coward's Christmas Spirits, written and directed by Nick Hutchison, will be staged at the St. James Studio, near Victoria in central London, from 8 to 23 December 2014.

The production has set design by Annie Gosney and musical direction by Stefan Bednarczyk. Cast includes Stefan Bednarczyk, Issy van Randwyck and Charlotte Wakefield.

Synopsis: "London, December 1940: the bombs rain down in the Blitz, and Britain faces up to Christmas under fire. In his Mayfair flat, Noel Coward uses his latest creation, Madam Arcati, the visionary medium, to summon up voices that tell of the enduring spirit of Christmas through the ages."

The story is told "through song, poetry and prose, from across the centuries and across the world."
