Noises Off transfers to Novello Theatre 24 March 2012

Noises Off by Michael Frayn, which ends its run at the Old Vic theatre on 10 March, will transfer to the Novello Theatre 24 March to 30 June 2012.

The comedy opened at the Old Vic Theatre from 3 Dec 2011 to excellent notices from the popular press.

Most of the original cast transfer with the show: Jonathan Coy (Frederick Fellowes), Janie Dee (Belinda Blair), Robert Glenister (Lloyd Dallas), Jamie Glover (Roger Tramplemain), Celia Imrie (Dotty Otley), Karl Johnson (Selsdon Mowbray), Paul Ready (Tim Allgood). The roles of Poppy Norton-Taylor and Brooke Ashton, are to be announced.

It is directed by Lindsay Posner, designed by Peter McKintosh, lighting by Paul Pyant.

Noises Off follows the amateur touring production of a dreadful sex comedy Nothing On, as it travels around the country. From the disastrous dress rehearsal with the cast still fumbling with entrances and exits and bothersome props, to the final performance of missed cues and forgotten lines, Noises Off portrays the explosive personal relationships that have led to off-stage shenanigans and on-stage bedlam.
