Giant Olive Theatre presents Oliver Twist , by Charles Dickens, adapted for the stage by Piers Beckley, is at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre, a Fringe venue in Kentish Town, north London from 30 Nov 2009 to 10 Jan 2010

Directed by Ray Shell, designed by Andrea Hooymans, lighting by Cairan Cunningham, costumes by Neale Pirie.

Oliver Twist, an orphan born into poverty in a Victoria workhouse, embarks on a journey to find his true identity, a search that involves passion, violence, sadness and joy. When brutal Fagin makes a deal with a stranger to steal Oliver Twist's birthright by leading the young lad into a den of iniquity and corruption, Fagin has no idea that it will lead to his own destruction...
