Peter Pan Live will no longer be streamed this weekend. In a YouTube video, they have said: "We will no longer be going ahead with this weekend's show. We stand with our Black employees, colleagues, partners and creators in outrage at acts of Racism. Black Lives Matter."

Peter Pan Live is the latest production to be streamed online as part of The Show Must Go On series. Based on J. M. Barrie's fairytale of the same name, the television special will be available to watch this weekend.

The musical production tells the story of Peter Pan, a young boy who loses his shadow that's helped by Wendy Darling. When the Darling children are then invited to Neverland, they fly past the second star to the right and into a brand new world that's complete with fairies, pirates and wonder.

The Peter Pan Live cast includes Allison Williams as Peter Pan, Christopher Walken as Captain Hook and Taylor Louderman as Wendy Darling. Kelli O' Hara and Christian Borle play Mrs Darling and Mr. Smee/George Darling respectively, with Jake Lucas as John Darling and John Allyn as Michael Darling.

Following the success of The Sound of Music Live, Peter Pan Live was the second production of its kind to be aired. Minnie Driver narrated the performance, which was originally broadcast on 4th December 2014.

This week's stream is the latest NBC musical event to be made available online, following last week's airing of Hairspray Live! and The Sound of Music starring Carrie Underwood.

The stream will begin from 7pm on 5th June, and will be available online for a further 48 hours.
