Production photos of Rory Kinnear in Young Marx at the Bridge Theatre
The first production images of the inaugural production at the Bridge Theatre have been released.
Richard Bean and Clive Coleman's looks at the life of a young Karl Marx in his 30s as he gallivants around Soho. It stars Rory Kinnear and Oliver Chris, and will be directed by Nicholas Hytner, who has set up the theatre with Nick Starr.
The full cast of Young Marx also includes Nancy Carroll, Laura Elphinstone, Eben Figueiredo, Nicholas Burns, Tony Jayawardena, Miltos Yerolemou, Duncan Wisbe, Scott Karim, Alana Ramsey, Sophie Russell, Fode Simbo, William Troughton and Joseph Wilkins.
Young Marx has designs by Mark Thompson with music by Grant Olding, lighting by Mark Henderson and sound by Paul Arditti, and reunited the creative team behind One Man, Two Guvnors.
The production is currently in previews, and will officially open on 16th October.
Yesterday, a photo was released showing the first audience inside the new auditorium on Saturday evening.
Young Marx will be followed by an adaptation of Julius Caesar starring Ben Whishaw, and Barney Norris' play Nightfall.
