Charles Dyer's Rattle Of A Simple Man, starring Michelle Collins & Stephen Tompkinson has posted early closing notices for 5 June 2004, after a run of only 4 weeks.

The play opened at the Comedy Theatre 11 May 2004, following previews from 6 May, and was inially booking to 28 Aug 2004, but poor box office, as well as luke warm notices from the popular press has forced its demise: FIONA MOUNTFORD for THE EVENING STANDARD says, "Leaden production finds no way in to any well spring of deep-running emotion."
