'Romans, a novel' sets full cast at Almeida Theatre

Olivier Award winner Kyle Soller leads the cast of the play by award-winning writer Alice Birch, playing a monthlong London run beginning in September.

The Almeida Theatre has set complete casting for its autumn production of Alice Birch's Romans, a novel, running from 9 September to 11 October. Opening night is 17 September.

Joining previously announced Olivier Award winner Kyle Soller (The Inheritance) are Declan Conlon, Yanexi Enriquez, Olivier Huband, Oliver Johnstone, Jerry Killick, Adelle Leonce, Agnes O’Casey and Stuart Thompson.

The production also features director Sam Pritchard set and costume Designer Merle Hensel, lighting designer Lee Curran, sound designer Benjamin Grant, composer Jasmin Kent Rodgman, and movement director Hannes Langolf.

Romans, a novel spans the 19th century to the present day, exploring how masculinity has evolved and how male narratives have shaped the world for centuries.
