Rosemary Ashe in The Singing Teacher - White Bear

West End star Rosemary Ashe will star in a new intimate four-hander musical The Singing Teacher at the White Bear Theatre in Kennington, south London, from 7 to the 11 October 2014.

The musical features book, music and lyrics by Kenneth Avery-Clark & Mark Goldthorp who have worked on West End shows such as 'The Producers', 'Avenue Q', 'Matilda' and 'Ragtime'.

The composers will star in the show alongside Matt Harrop and Rosemary Ashe whose extensive stage credits include the original London productions of 'The Phantom of the Opera', 'Mary Poppins' and 'The Witches of Eastwick'.

The Singing Teacher takes place in London and follows the trials and tribulations of an American singing teacher trying to move on from a troubled past. As he begins his new journey, he comes across a number of extraordinary personalities including a City Banker with anger issues, a self-proclaimed Broadway Diva and a man who is primarily unable to sing.
