Experimental Experience will present Sex Workers' Opera at the Pleasance Theatre in Islington, north London, directed by Siobhan Knox and Alex Etchart from 17 to 29 May 2016.

The production marks a return of the company who are celebrating their second year anniversary with a return engagement of the show. Featuring music spanning opera to 'hip-hopera', incorporating sound art, projections and poetry, it offers an unflinchingly honest, upliftingly human insight into the lives of sex workers locally and around the world.

"You say that sex is all you see, well I think you see me in 2D because the actual reality is a mosaic blur - a tapestry."

The show originally ran at the Arcola Theatre in Dalston in January 2015. It has been created through a series of workshops featuring over 100 stories sent in from around the world, and features a cast and crew of 50% Sex Workers.
