Shakespeare's Globe Theatre - Cast Update

Cast update at the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, whose season runs from 23 April to Sep 2011.

Public booking opens on 14 Feb 2011.

Joshua McGuire cast as Hamlet (small-scale production), directed by Dominic Dromgoole from 23 April.

Janie Dee has been cast as Countess of Roussillon in All's Well That Ends Well, directed by John Dove, from 27 April.

Eve Best & Charles Edwards have been cast as Beatrice & Benedict in Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Jeremy Herrin, from 21 May

Paul Hilton has been cast in the title role of Doctor Faustus by Christopher Marlowe, directed by Matthew Dunster, from 18 June.

Other productions in the season include As You Like It (small-scale production), from 17 May; Anne Boleyn by Howard Brenton, directed by John Dove, from 8 July; The Globe Mysteries, directed by Deborah Bruce from 5 August; The God of Soho by Chris Hannan, directed by Raz Shaw, from 27 August.
