Spoonface Steinberg by Lee Hall at Jermyn Street

Jermyn Street Theatre in association with Glasgow Citizens Theatre presents Spoonface Steinberg, by Lee Hall, at the Jermyn Street Theatre, a 70-seat Off West End venue in Piccadilly, central London 2 to 20 July 2013.

Directed by Max Barton, designed by Carmen Mueck, lighting by Gerald McDermott, sound by Scott Twynholm. Spoonface Steinberg will be played by Lucy Hollis.

Follows a 7 year old autistic girl as she struggles to make sense of a complicated world. In her innocence she plumbs the darkest places with a constant sense of hope, naivety and humour. Spoonface explores her family life, her Jewish heritage and her surprising obsession with opera. The play is interwoven with opera arias sung by Maria Callas.
