Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith’s 'Inside No 9' to return to London

Inside No.9 Stage/Fright will return to London early next year, after a final stop was added to the show's 12-venue tour. Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith’s stage show will now play six final performances at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith from 2-6 January 2026.

Inside No.9 Stage/Fright opened in the West End in January this year, with our critic writing: "It is full of melodrama, dark humour and spine-chilling frights. And in true Inside No. 9 spirit, there are several miniature worlds to dip in and out of — most of which will be recognisable already."

Nominated for an Olivier Award this year in the Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play category, Inside No.9 Stage/Fright is based on the much-loved TV series and features comedic, spooky and dramatic moments.

Joining Pemberton and Shearsmith on tour and reprising their West End roles are Rebecca Bainbridge, Mark Extance, Gaby French, Miranda Hennessy, Bhav Joshi and Toby Manley, Sarah Moyle, and Sophie Suddaby.

Special guest stars have included Ian McKellen, Jonathan Ross, Maureen Lipman, Lenny Henry, Stephen Fry, Rick Astley, Michael Sheen, David Tennant, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Basil Brush.

The ninth, and final, season of the BAFTA Award-winning BBC TV series was screened last year and is now available on BBC iPlayer.
