Storm in a Teacup - inspired by Chekhov's Three Sisters

Storm in a Teacup, devised by Hot Coals, inspired by Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters, at Park Theatre - Park90, a fringe venue in Finsbury Park, north London, from 18 Feb to 16 Mar 2014. The play is presented by Hot Coals Theatre Ensemble in association with The Park Theatre.

Directed by Alice Robinson, designed by Fian Andrews with contributions from Alice Robinson and Hot Coals, costume by Jo Sargeant and Hot Coals. Cast includes Margot Courtemanche, Clare-Louise English, Jo Sargeant.

In an old house live three old, OLD sisters. This darkly comic piece examines the quirky, tender world of three sisters fighting to keep their independence. Watch on as physical comedy, walking sticks & false teeth come to life.

Formed in 2012, Hot Coals was trained by The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art's core staff plus guest tutors from established ensemble companies. Storm in a Teacup is their first production.
