Pipeline Theatre will present Streaming by Jon Welch at the Pleasance Theatre Islington, north London, from 11 to 29 November 2014, with an official opening on 13 November 2014.

This new play explores the world of web-camming through the depiction of one teenager's initiation into the sex industry. It follows 15 year old Rosa who finds solace in the friendship of her reclusive neighbour following the death of her mother and breakdown of her father. Her eyes are opened to her neighbour's home-grown business that earns her £3.50 a minute, 20 times a night.

The cast for the production includes Kyla Goodey, Angus Brown, and Anna Munden.

The production will use a shape-shifting set, projection and puppetry to tell this "rite of passage story for a modern age" where walls become veils and private becomes public. Directed by the author, Jon Welch, Streaming features designs by Alan and Jude Munden, lighting design by Paul Joines and music and sound design by Jon Welch.
