The National Theatre and The Children’s Touring Partnership will present the Bristol Old Vic's production of Swallows and Amazons, for a limited 5-week run over the Christmas period.
The musical play will open at the Vaudeville Theatre on 19 Dec 2011, following previews from 15 Dec 2011, and play a five week limited engagement through to 14 Jan 2011.
Swallows and Amazons has book by Helen Edmundson and songs by Neil Hannon, based on the book by Arthur Ransome.
It is directed by Tom Morris, designed by Robert Innes Hopkins, costume design by Robert Innes Hopkins & Liesel Corp, lighting design by James Farncombe and sound by Jason Barnes.
