Jackinabox Productions will present The Hotel at 47/49 Tanner Street, an arts venue in south London, from 14 to 19 October 2014.

Described as an 'immersive' theatre experience, The Hotel plays lonely host to echoes of its own past, but as it opens its doors to the curious, you are invited to take a glimpse at the secrets hidden behind the abandoned walls. Venture beyond the 'do not disturb sign' and immerse yourself in The Hotel's people and their stories in the most private and intimate of settings.

Each room in the hotel houses a different anonymous show and guests will be checked into a first room on arrival, and will then have an opportunity to choose a second room.

The production is brought together by Artistic Directors and company founders John Askew and Hayley Adams, associate director Katherine Timms and executive producer Isabel Dixon. The week-long run has been programmed as part of a double bill of work from new companies by 47/49 Tanner Street, who have a commitment to collaboration and developing emerging artists.
