Toby Jones to star in Caryl Churchill’s Glass. Kill. Bluebeard. Imp. At Royal Court

Casting has been announced for Caryl Churchill's upcoming quadruple bill of plays opening at the Royal Court next month. 

Directed by James Macdonald, the plays are titled Glass, Kill, Bluebeard's Friends and Imp, although details of each play are sketchy from marketing materials.

Imp will star Deborah Findlay, Louisa Harland, Toby Jones and Tom Mothersdale, while Bluebeard's Friends will feature Findlay, Jones, Sarah Niles and Sule Rimi.

Mothersdale will also appear in Kill as the character 'Gods', while Caelan Edie and Leo Rait will play 'People'. Glass will feature Rebekah Murrell as 'A girl made of glass', while the other characters will be played by Harland, Kwabena Ansah and Patrick McNamee.

Churchill's last play at the Royal Court Escaped Alone, which was also directed by Macdonald, opened to critical acclaim and went on to transfer to Broadway, while her play Top Girls was recently revived at the National Theatre

Glass. Kill. Bluebeard. Imp. Is at the Royal Court from 18th September to 12th October.
