Top Hat, which was taking bookings to 26 April 2014, is now only taking bookings to 26 Oct 2013 at the Aldwych Theatre, suggesting the show will close on this date, although we have not received official confirmation of this from the producers!
Top Hat, which has music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, adapted for the stage by Matthew White and Howard Jacques, opened at the Aldwych Theatre, 9 May 2012, following previews from 19 April 2012.
It is directed by Matthew White, designed by Hildegard Bechtler, lighting by Peter Mumford, choreography by Bill Deamer, musical direction by Daniel Jackson, costumes by Jon Morrell, produced by Kenny Wax, Stewart Lane and Bonnie Comley, Ted Hartley, Flora Suk-Hwa Yoon and Lee Menzies.
