The Tower Theatre Company will present Farragut North by Beau Willimon at the Bridewell Theatre in central London from 29 September to 3 October 2015.

"Farragut North, the name of the metro station where many of Washington's political consultancies are based, is where washed-up press secretaries go when they've lost the will to live on the campaign trail. Far from where golden boy, Stephen Bellamy intended to finish up; at 25 and at the top of his game, Bellamy is press secretary to a candidate for the Democratic Party's presidential election. Set during the presidential primaries, we witness the campaign managers and publicists, Bellamy included; doing anything they can to manipulate the press and public opinion."

Beau Willimon's drama was inspired by his experience as a press aide for Howard Dean's 2004 presidential campaign, and written prior to creating the award-winning TV series 'House of Cards'. It was adapted into a screenplay, 'The Ides of March' which was directed by George Clooney.

The production will be directed by Michael Bettell with set design by Rosie Shipman, costume design by Jennifer Kohn, lighting design by Robin Snowdon and sound design by Leon Chambers.

Tickets for the production are now on sale.
