The UK Premiere of Paloma Pedrero's play Wolf Kisses, translated by Roxana Silbert, will play a limited engagement at the Old Red Lion Theatre, near Angel in north London, from 22 to 27 Jul 2014.
Synopsis: 'This dreamlike tale follows the story of Ana, a young convent educated woman who returns to her rural town and awaits her distant lover. Family secrets, past friendships and love interests are unearthed while Ana holds on to the hope that her lover will return. As Ana's self-created illusions start to unfold, her resistance to the norms of village life creates a struggle that threatens to damage the lives of her friends and family.'
The cast of Wolf Kisses includes Patrick Holt (Luciano), Angus King (Camilo), Jon Millington (Agustin), and Katerina Watson (Ana). It is directed by Natalie Katsou, produced by Rhiannon Kelly and Matthew Parvin and features scenic and costume design by Maria Kalamara, lighting by Yiannis Katsaris and music by Andrei Ionescu.
