A new production of Samuel Beckett's play Waiting for Godot will open at the Arcola Theatre Studio One in Dalston, east London, on 12 May 2014 following previews from 7 May, running until 14 June 2014.

This new production will feature comedians Tom Palmer and Tom Stourton as the central roles of tramps Vladimir and Estragon, alongside Jonathan Oliver as Pozzo and Michael Roberts as Lucky.

Palmer and Stourton are better known as comedy duo 'Totally Tom' and were nominated for the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Newcomer Award at Edinburgh in 2011. They went on to make their television debut on Channel 4's 'Comedy Lab'. Director Simon Dormandy has re-imagined the play for a young, contemporary audience and has gained permission from the Beckett estate to cast two younger men in the central roles.
