Writer's Block/Misanthropy at Etcetera Theatre

William Alexander Wood & Pandemonium Performance presents Writer's Block/Misanthropy at the Etcetera Theatre, a 42-seat fringe venue, in Camden, north London, from 5 to 10 Nov 2013.

The play is directed by William Alexander Wood & Steve Fitzgerald and is written by William Alexander Wood (Writer's Block) and Louise Hart (Misanthropy).

Inspired by Samuel Beckett's 'Krapp's Last Tape' and characters from Joshua Sobal's 'Ghetto', 'Writer's Block' follows a young writer, Leo Wolfe, locked away in his study bitter and desperate. As he tries to work on his latest piece he begins to question the choices he's made and if addiction can come in all shapes and sizes.

In 'Misanthropy' we enter a dream like world and see into the lives of a young couple and the mysterious woman who watches over them.
