The Force of Change

A round up of  some of the popular press reviews,  by Darren Dalglish

This play, which  received good reviews when it had a run in the  Theatre Upstairs earlier this year, has again received good notices from the popular press, although some reviewers believe that the play "has lost some of its edge-of-your-seat factor since it moved from the studio theatre upstairs into the main house". THE EVENING STANDARD says, "Gary Mitchell has concocted an exciting theatrical battle of wills and personalities." SUSANNAH CLAPP for the OBSERVER, describes the play as "a minor revelation" . THE DAILY EXPRESS describes the play as "a nail-biting thriller" and goes on to say, "One of the very best new plays of the year." THE TIMES says, "An interestingly intricate thriller ." THE GUARDIAN says, "The play, though never less than gripping, is always drama rather than theatre." KATE STRATTON for TIME OUT says, "...engrossing, from start to finish.." THE SUNDAY TIMES says, "Robert Delamere's production is a must-see, must think-about."
