Handbagged - Tower Theatre Company Synopsis:

The Queen and Mrs. Thatcher face off in this hilarious comedy about the behind the scenes conversations of the world's most powerful women. It provides a very funny portrait of a relationship between monarch and prime minister that wasn't made in heaven. Buffini takes a 360-degree view of the business of writing theatre and we see this approach taken in Handbagged too. We see the older monarch sit in judgement upon her younger self just as older Margaret Thatcher looks back on the woman that she was in office.
