The Chainsaw Manicure
Two girls, Abigail and Frances fixate about sexual adventures - real or imagined - and an abundance of yoga. However their cosy house-share in Peckham is suddenly disrupted by their new lodger, Gary, an eccentric young man with a desire for ketchup filled sandwiches and an unusual fetish with a large petrol-driven chainsaw. He proves to be more than a handful, but will the noise pollution be the last straw? The Chainsaw Manicure was first performed at the ETC Theatre and later translated into French before running in Paris. Tom has also written for TV and his Theatre-in-Education company Upstage Musical Productions produces original Musical Theatre projects in schools and theatres both in the UK and abroad.
