London Grey & Green Theatre Company presents A Sudden Burst of Blinding Light by Ben Maier at the Rosemary Branch Theatre in north London from 7 to the 12 of October 2014.

The play explores mental illness, and acts as a compassionate play about family, friendship and illusion. It follows Jude Beringer who thinks she's going mad. Then she meets Leon, a young card magician who can make people disappear, and what follows is a wildly entertaining journey through the minds of two young people surviving against the odds in the big bad city.

Ben Maier is a writer and performer. He recently co-wrote and provided songs for 'A Dashing Fellow' at the New Diorama and his one-man show 'An Imaginary Circus', produced by Belka Productions, commences a UK tour in the Autumn.

London Grey & Green Theatre was founded in 2013, "dedicated to exploring the world around us through imaginative and varied performance techniques". They are committed to producing work with at least 50% female representation on the stage.
