Booking for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child extends to July 2019

The West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is set to extend through to July 2019, as the play enters its third year in London.

With a story by JK Rowling, book by Jack Thorne, and directed by John Tiffany, the eighth story in the Harry Potter saga had its world premiere at the Palace Theatre in London on 30th July 2016. It starred Jamie Parker, Noma Dumezweni and Paul Thornley as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.

Most of the original cast, including Sam Clemmett and Olivier Award winner Anthony Boyle, transferred with the play as it got its Broadway premiere earlier this year. Additional productions in Melbourne, San Francisco and Hamburg have been announced.

From 18th September at 11 am, tickets for performances from 10th April to 28th July 2019 at the Palace Theatre in London will go on sale to the public.

The current cast of the London production features by Jamie Ballard as Harry Potter, Susie Trayling as Ginny Potter and Joe-Idris Roberts playing their son, Albus Potter. Thomas Aldridge plays Ron Weasley alongside Franc Ashman who plays Hermione Granger and s their daughter Rose Granger Weasley is played by Helen Aluko. James Howard plays Draco Malfoy, and Jonathan Case plays his son, Scorpius.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will book at the Palace Theatre until 28th July 2019.
