Cassidy Janson, Matt Croke and Rachel John to sing in Theatre Channel Christmas episode

The Christmas special will be available to watch on 23 December.

The line-up for the fourth episode in The Theatre Channel series has been announced. The seven West End stars will all perform Christmas songs from a variety of musicals, which can be streamed online on 23 December.

Speaking about the episode, producer Adam Blanshay said, "As we reach the culmination of arguably the most challenging year of the past several decades, our goal ... is to consider and contemplate upon the hardships we have faced, recognize those whom we have lost, but also instil a joyous celebration of the Holiday season, and the promise of the year ahead with brighter times to come."

The full cast and their respective song choice, listed in alphabetical order by surname are as follows:

Matt Croke and Tosh Wanogho-Maud singing a mashup of "Happy Holidays" and "Let's Start The New Year" from Holiday Inn

Sophie-Louise Dann performing "We Need A Little Christmas" from Mame

Cassidy Janson singing "White Christmas" from White Christmas 

Rachel John performing "A Brand New Day" from The Wiz

Zizi Strallen singing "Turkey Lurkey Time" from Promises Promises

Manon Taris giving a rendition of "Ave Maria Païen" from Notre Dame de Paris

The Café Four (Alyn Hawke, Emily Langham, Sadie-Jean Shirley, Alex Woodward) and Graduates from the ArtsEd class of 2020 singing "Seasons of Love" from Rent.
