Cast update for Life is a Dream at the Donmar

The full cast has been announced for Life is a Dream, by Pedro Calderon de la Barca, in a new version by Helen Edmundson, which opens at the Donmar Warehouse on 13 Oct 2009, following previews from 8 Oct - running to 28 Nov 2009.

Joining previously mentioned Dominic West (Segismundo), is Malcolm Storry (Basilio), Rupert Evans (Astolfo), Kate Fleetwood(Rosaura), David Horovitch (Clotaldo), Lloyd Hutchinson (Clarion), Sharon Small (Estrella), David Smith (Soldier 2/Servant 2), Dylan Turner (Soldier 1/Servant 1).

It is directed by Jonathan Munby, designed by Angela Davies, lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Dominic Haslam.

To protect the country from the horrors prophesied, Segismundo is condemned for all eternity. Banished to a secret world high in the mountains and cut off from the sun, he can only dream of a life reversed; of palaces, empires, freedom and revenge.
