Casting announced for High Fidelity at the Turbine Theatre
Casting has been announced for the first musical to be staged at the new theatre in Battersea the Turbine Theatre, High Fidelity based on the novel by Nick Hornby.
The musical, based on Hornby's 1995 novel about a record shop owner whose girlfriend leaves him leads him to get in touch with former partners. It was adapted into a musical for Broadway in 2006 with a book by David Lindsay-Abaire, music by Tom Kitt and lyrics by Amanda Green.
Directed by Tom Jackson Greaves, full casting for the musical includes Bobbie Little, Oliver Ormson, Robert Tripolino, Shanay Holmes, Carl Au, Robbie Durham, Rosie Fletcher, Lauran Rae, Jessica Lee, Eleanor Kane and Joshua Dever.
High Fidelity will run at the Turbine Theatre from 21st October to 7th December.
The musical follows the first production at the Turbine, Torch Song, Harvey Fierstein's play about a drag queen in New York starring Matthew Needham. It runs until 13th October.
