Full casting has been announced for Trevor Nunn's upcoming production of Agnes Colander, which will run in London at the Jermyn Street Theatre.

The play was written by a young Harley Granville Barker, in 1900, but wasn't discovered for around a century, when it was unearthed amongst papers in an archive at the British Museum. It went on to have rehearsed readings at the National Theatre, and a full production directed by Nunn at the Ustinov Studio in Bath.

It follows an artist called Agnes who left her adulterous husband Henry three years ago. As he writes to her begging to have her back, Agnes finds herself at the attention of a Danish artist named Otho, and a younger gentleman called Alec. As she travels from London to France, she is torn between wanting to be loved, and wanting to be an independent woman.

Agnes Colander will make its London premiere at the Jermyn Street Theatre on 12th February.

Many of the cast from the Bath production will reprise their roles in the London production: Naomi Frederick will play the titular role, Sally Scott will play Emmeline Majoribanks, Matthew Flynn will play Otho Kjoge, and Cindy-Jane Armbuster will play Martha and Suzon.

They will be joined by Harry Lister Smith, who will play Alexander Flint.

Agnes Colander is at the Jermyn Street Theatre from 12th February to 16th March.
