Chickenshed Theatre announces David Walliam's The Midnight Gang

The Chickenshed Theatre have announced a new stage adaptation of David Walliams' The Midnight Gang adapted by director Lou Stein.  

Opening on 20 July The Midnight Gang is the tale of a group of children who find themselves in hospital, but they discover a world of excitement outside the hospital ward once the clock strikes midnight and other kids are fast asleep.  

The cast includes: Jonny Morton as Sir Quentin Strillers/Mr Cod, Michael Bossisse as Doctor Luppers/Tootsie, Bradley Davies as Toms Dad/Nurse Meese/ Mr Thews, Ashley Maynard as Hospital Porter, Belinda McGuirk as Nelly/Dilly/Toms Mum,
Sarah Connolly as Matron, Yossi Goodlink as Tom, Tamika Armstrong as Amber, Finn Walters as Robin, Joe Booth as George, and Chloe Stevenson as Sally

David Walliams is best known to audiences as the star of Little Britain, and Britain's Got Talent, but since 2008 he also become a bestr selling children's author selling over 17 Million copies worldwide. This is not the first time his work has been adapted for the stage with Gangsta Granny taking place this summer at the Garrick Theatre, and  Awful Auntie toured the UK in 2016.
