Come From Away extends booking period at the Phoenix Theatre to May 2020

Come From Away will play at the Phoenix Theatre for an extended booking period to 23rd May 2020, it has been announced.

With a book, music and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein after visiting Gander, Come From Awayexplores how 7,000 air passengers and crew were welcomed into the small-town Canadian community after 38 planes were diverted in the immediate aftermath of 9/11.

Opening at the Phoenix Theatre in 2019, Come From Away won four Olivier Awards including best new musical and outstanding achievement in music.

Come From Away will now play in the West End with a booking period to 23rd May 2020.

The cast currently stars Jenna Boyd, Nathanael Campbell, Clive Carter, Mary Doherty, Robert Hands, Helen Hobson, Jonathan Andrew Hume, Harry Morrison, Emma Salvo, David Thaxton, Cat Simmons and Rachel Tucker.

On 18th October 2019, Come From Away will celebrate their 300th performance in the West End, as well as the show's 300,000th audience member at the Phoenix Theatre.

The show has also partnered with Centrepoint, a British homeless charity and will be raising funds to support the organisation.

Come From Away is at the Phoenix Theatre, with an extended booking period to 23rd May 2020.
