De Vega's Madness in Valencia - Trafalgar Studios 9 Feb

Madness in Valencia, by Lope de Vega, translated by David Johnston, opens at the Trafalgar Stidios 2 theatre on 11 Feb 2010, following previews from 9 Feb - running to 6 March 2010

The production by Black and White Rainbow theatre company had a run at the White Bear Fringe venue earlier this year.

It is directed by Simon Evans, with designs and costumes by Kate Matthews.

Floriano kills a Prince and flees. Erifila escapes an abhorrent arranged marriage. Uncertain of their futures they take refuge in Valencia's famed asylum. Locked up with fools and physicians they become entangled in the convolutions of a glorious farce.
