"Elegies for Angels, Punks & Raging Queen's" at Fortune theatre 1 day only - 28 May 2006

Two charity performances of Brentwood Theatre Company's Elegies for Angels, Punks & Raging Queen's will take place at The Fortune Theatre (home of Woman in Black), on Sunday 28 May 2006 at 4pm & 8pm (Tickets 01277 226658)

It is directed by David Toltek.

Through a series of monologues and songs, Elegies... tells the stories of a variety of victims of the AIDS plague, and their families and friends, and how they coped with the tragic news of their impending death. Whilst obviously a hugely harrowing subject, there is much humour in the show as the souls of the deceased tell, often without anger or irony, their story.

The production will be in aid of The Elton John Aids Foundation.

(The show will also play at The Brentwood Theatre in Essex, 24 to 27 May, before its London performance)
