Full cast announced for What’s In a Name UK tour

The full cast joining Joe Thomas, Summer Strallen and Alex Gaumond in a UK tour of What's In a Name later this year has been announced.

The play, written by Matthew Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellière, has been adapted into English and will be directed by Jeremy Sams as it embarks on a UK tour which will visit Guildford and Richmond.

This production, which ran at Birmingham REP starring Nigel Harman and Sarah Hadland in 2017, is comedy about a dinner of family and friends in which a number of home truths are spilled and debated.

Joe Thomas plays father-to-be Vincent, while Summer Strallen plays pregnant wife Anna and Laura Patch plays his sister Elizabeth. Bo Poraj will play Elizabeth's husband Pete and Alex Gaumond will play long-time family friend Carl.

Directed by Sams, the production features set designs by Francis O'Connor and lighting by Rick Fisher. It will run in Guildford at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre from 5th to 14th September, Richmond Theatre from 12th to 16th November, as well as visiting Glasgow, York, Aylesbury, Cambridge, Windsor and Nuffield.

What's In a Name opens at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre on 12th September.
