Full cast to join Kevin Clifton in The Wedding Singer announced
With performances of The Wedding Singer beginning later this month at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, the show’s full cast has been announced. They will join Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin Clifton, who will star as Robbie Hart in the musical, running for a five-week limited engagement.

Rhiannon Chesterman will play the role of Julia, whose West End credits include Mrs Henderson Presents at the Noel Coward Theatre. She’s worked with Kevin Clifton before, previously appearing together on the national tour of Rock of Ages.
Rock of Ages tour alumni Erin Bell will play Linda and Andrew Carthy will play George, with Sandra Dickinson as Rosie, Ashley Emerson as Sammy, Jonny Fines as Glen and Tara Verloop as Holly.
The cast of The Wedding Singer is completed by Simon Anthony, Andy Brady, Jordan Crouch, Vanessa Grace Lee, Paris Green, Lori Haley Fox, Morgan Jackson, Aimee Moore, Nathan Ryles and Ellie Seaton.
Kevin Clifton to star in The Wedding Singer
Clifton will star as Robbie Hart in The Wedding Singer, the role made famous by Adam Sandler. However, he’s best known as a professional dancer on the hit BBC dance show Strictly Come Dancing.
Since his first appearance on the show in 2013, Clifton has competed in seven series of the reality show, winning the competition in 2018 with celebrity partner Stacey Dooley.
As well as being a world champion dancer, Clifton has starred in two musicals, appearing in the West End production of Dirty Dancing and playing Stacee Jaxx in the 2019 national tour of Rock of Ages.
About The Wedding Singer
Based on the 1998 movie of the same name, The Wedding Singer follows Robbie Hart, a New Jersey wedding singer whose dreams of a married life are dashed when his fiancée dumps him at the altar. Determined to ruin other weddings, will Robbie be able to see the light with the help of sweet-natured Julia and her best friend Holly?
The Wedding Singer features a book by Chad Beguelin and Tim Herlihy, with music by Matthew Sklar and lyrics by Chad Beguelin. The musical received its Broadway premiere in 2006, and was first performed in the UK on a national tour in 2008.
