Full casting announced for Channing Tatum’s Magic Mike Live in London
The full cast has been announced for the upcoming London production of Magic Mike Live, which is conceived and co-directed by Channing Tatum.
Based on the films that starred Tatum, Magic Mike Live transforms the Theatre at the Hippodrome Casino into an intimate club where a group of artists will perform impressive acrobatic stunts and alluring dance routines.
Following runs in Las Vegas, the show has been called 'the modern strip show we deserve' by USA Today.
The cast for the production will feature Samantha Baines, Jake Brewer, Harry Carter, Pip Hersee, Sophie Linder-Lee, Jack Manley, David Morgan, Ross Sands, Dean Stewart, Manny Tsakanika and Aaron Daniel Ralph, Antonio Donadio and Sebastián Melo Taveira, Maxwell Trengove and Brian Siregar.
Suitable for audiences 18 and up, the live show takes inspiration from the blockbuster movies Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL, which are loosely based on Tatum's experiences as a stripper in Florida when he was 18.
Co-directed by Tatum Tatum and Alison Faulk, the production has choreography by Alison Faulk, Teresa Espinosa and Luke Broadlickand. The production designer is Rachel O'Toole, with scenic design by Rob Bissinger and Anita LaScala (Arda Studio), costume design by Marina Toybina, with lighting design by Philip Gladwell, plus video design by Luke Halls. The musical supervisor is Jack Rayner, with sound design by Nick Kourtides.
Magic Mike Live is at the Theatre at the Hippodrome Casino from 10th November and is booking until 27th October 2019.
