Full casting announced for Eugenius the Musical at The Other Palace

Producers Warwick Davis and Kevin Wood have announced the cast for upcoming new musical Eugenius, which runs at The Other Palace from January.

With a book, music and lyrics by Ben Adams and Chris Wilkins, Eugenius is about Eugene, a teenager whose dreams provide him with the inspiration for a Hollywood blockbuster.

Liam Forde will make his London stage debut in the lead role of Eugene, with Laura Baldwin, who is currently appearing in Big Fish at The Other Palace, playing his love interest Janey.

The cast also includes Daniel Buckley (The Book Of Mormon), Ian Hughes (Guys and Dolls), Scott Paige (The Addams Family), Cameron Blakely (Les Misérables), Shaun Dalton (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Melissa James (The Bodyguard), Alexander Evans (Sound of Music) and Alison Arnopp (Dusty).

Brian Gilligan, Jacob Fisher, Alex Tranter, Luke Dowling, Rosie Heath, Chloe Chambers and Frances Dee complete the cast.

On the cast announcement, Warwick Davis said: "We are thrilled to announce the talented cast and can't wait to get started in rehearsals to bring the show to life as a fully staged production. We have all the ingredients for Eugenius."

Eugenius, which runs at The Other Palace from 22nd January to 3rd March, is directed by Ian Talbot with choreography by Aaron Renfree, sound by Gareth Owen, Lighting by Andrew Ellis, designs by Hannah Wolfe, musical supervision by Stuart Morley and musical direction by Darren Lord.

Eugenius the Musical is at The Other Palace from 22nd January to 3rd March.
