The full casting for Ghost Quartet to be staged at the Boulevard Theatre has been announced, marking the inaugural production to be staged at the new West End location.

Ghost Quartet tells the story of Rose, a young woman who has been betrayed by her lover, a tree-dwelling astronomer. Seeking vengeance with the help of a passerby, Rose finds herself on a journey spanning centuries, continents and the cosmos. First performed in 2014, Ghost Quartet will receive its London premiere at the Boulevard Theatre.

The cast will star Zubin Varla, whose previous West End credits include Equus at Trafalgar Studios and Fun Home at the Young Vic. He is joined by Carly Bawden, with notable performing credits including Sylvia at the Old Vic, Assassins and Pippin at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

The cast is completed by Maimuna Memon who starred in Jesus Christ Superstar at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre and Niccolò Curradi, who will make his West End debut in Ghost Quartet.

The Boulevard Theatre is led by Fawn James, the director of Soho Estates. The venue will be home to a roster of cabaret, improv, jazz, comedy, classical music and poetry, as well as staging musicals.

Earlier this year, LondonTheatre.co.uk spoke to creatives at the Boulevard Theatre about the theatre's all-accommodating design, as well as creating a brand new performance space with the legacy of Soho in mind.

Ghost Quartet is at the Boulevard Theatre from 24th October to 4th January 2020.
