Full casting announced for The Sunset Limited at the Boulevard Theatre

Casting for the London premiere of The Sunset Limited has been announced, with performances at the Boulevard Theatre from January 2020.

First staged in 2006, Cormac McCarthy’s play follows two men whose lives are changed when they meet on a subway platform, with different beliefs on life’s greatest existential questions that face humanity, in a gripping play on faith, free-will and redemption.

Gary Beadle will play the role of Black in The Sunset Limited, best known for playing Paul Trueman in Eastenders. His theatre credits include Les Blancs at the National Theatre, Now We Are Here at the Young Vic and The Treatment at the Almeida Theatre.

Jasper Britton will play White in The Sunset Limited, recently appearing in Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall. Britton has starred in numerous shows with the RSC, include The Jew of Malta, Richard II and Henry IV Part I and II, as well as productions of Jerusalem and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

The Sunset Limited will begin previews at the Boulevard Theatre from 16th January, with an official opening night on 21st January and performances to 14th March 2020.
