Full casting for London premiere of Class at the Bush Theatre announced

Casting has been announced for Iseult Golden and David Horan's upcoming production of Class, which will receive its London premiere at the Bush Theatre.

First performed at the Dublin Theatre Festival in 2017, Class follows Brian and Donna and their nine year old Jayden, who is struggling in school. When a school meeting between Brian, Donna and Jayden's teacher Mr McCafferty, the parents decide whether to trust their child's teacher in a play looking at masculinity in education.

The cast will all reprise their roles from the Dublin Theatre Festival. Sarah Morris will play Donna in Class with further stage credits including Tina's Idea of Fun at the Abbey Theatre. She is joined by Stephen Jones as Brian, who has appeared in Ulysses at the Abbey Theatre, and television shows including Ripper Street and Red Rock and Will O'Connell as Mr McCafferty, with previosu credits including Irish productions of Peer Gynt, Macbeth and King Lear. All three cast members make their London stage debuts in Class.

The play is written and directed by Isuelt Golden and David Horan, with Horan's directorial credits including Moments also at the Bush Theatre.

The creative team is completed with set and costume design by Maree Kearns, lighting by Kevin Smith and sound design by Ivan Birthistle and Vincent Doherty.

Class is at the Bush Theatre from 7th May to 1st June.
