"Guys and Dolls" Full Casting Confirmed!

Full casting is now confirmed for Guys and Dolls, which opens at the Piccadilly Theatre 1 June 2005, following previews from 19 May , booking to 1 Oct 2005.

The full cast is: Ewan McGregor (Sky Masterson), Jane Krakowski (Miss Adelaide), Douglas Hodge (Nathan Detroit), Jenna Russell (Sarah Brown), Martin Ellis (Nicely Nicely), Niall Buggy (Arvide), Gaye Brown (General Cartwright), Sevan Stephen (Big Julie), Norman Bowman, Patrick Brennan, Lyndsey Britton, Darren Carnell, Ben Clare, Matthew Cole, Cory English, Liz Cooper Gee, Charlotte Gorton, Zoe Hardman, Madeleine Harland, Nicola Keen, Graham Macduff, Andrew Playfoot, Kelly Price, Jo Servi, Spencer Soloman, Summer Strallen, Suzanne Toase, Sebastian Torkia.

Ewan McGregor (Sky Masterson) was last on the London stage in 1999 in "Little Malcolm And His Struggle Against The Eunuchs" at the Comedy Theatre (following a run at the Hampstead Theatre in 1998). His many film credits include "Star Wars"; "Moulin Rouge!"; Little Voice"; "Trainspotting".

Jane Krakowski (Miss Adalaide) , is making her West End debut. She won a Tony Award in 2003 for her role as the sensual 'Carla' in "Nine". She won a Golden Globe Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award for "Ally McBeal".

Jenna Russell (Sarah Brown) has played leading roles on the London stage in "Les Miserables", "Follies" and "Martin Guerre". She has just finished filming the last series of the "Born and Bred", playing the lead role of 'Deborah Gilkder; her other TV and film work includes "The Fear", "Peak Practice", "Home to Roost", "On the Up" and "Picking Up the Pieces".

Douglas Hodge's (Nathan Detroit) many London stage credits include "Dumb Show" at the Royal Court in 2004; "Three Sisters" at the Playhouse in 2003; "The Caretaker" at the Comedy Theate in 2000; "Betrayal" at the Lyttelton, NT in 1998; "Blinded by the Sun" at the Cottesloe, NT in 1996. His TV and film credits includes the new film "Vanity Fair", "Middlemarch" and "Redcap"

Guys and Dolls has music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. It is directed by Michael Grandage; designed by Christopher Oram; choreography by Rob Ashford, lighting by Howard Harrison; and sound by Terry Jardine and Chris Full.

The show is produced by Howard Panter for The Ambassador Theatre Group and David Lan for Clear Channel Entertainment, in association with the Donmar Warehouse's own production team.

Brings to life the Broadway of the 1940's, inhabited by gamblers, nightclub performers and members of the Salvation Army, in search of sinners to cure. The score includes numbers as 'Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat', 'Luck Be A Lady Tonight' and 'Take Back Your Mink'.
