There are major cast changes in Guys and Dolls at the Piccadilly Theatre, from 6 Feb 2007

Joining Don Johnson, who is currently playing Nathan Detroit, is Claire Sweeney returning to star as Miss Adelaide; Lisa Stokkes as Sarah Brown and Ben Richards as Sky Masterson, who have both performed on the National tour.

The show will also have a new company from 6 Feb 2007 including Jack Edwards (Nicely Nicely), Jo Servi (Arvide), Carol Ball (General Cartwright), Nick Cavaliere (Big Jule). The cast will also include Kate Alexander, Keisha Atwell, Venessa Barmby, Chris Bennett, Verirty Bentham, Louise Bowden, Matt Cole, Richard Costello, Simon Coulthard, Tom Dwyer, Catherine Greeney, Spencer Stafford, Claire Taylor, Alain Terzoli, Dominic Watson, Ed White, Anna Woodside.

Guys and Dolls, opened at the Piccadilly Theatre on 1 June 2005, following previews from 19 May 2005, to moderate notices from the popular press: PAUL TAYLOR for THE INDEPENDENT says, "Utterly elating revival..this production looks to be a sure-fire winner." CHARLES SPENCER for THE DAILY TELEGRAPH says, " There is much to enjoy, passages when the show undoubtedly achieves lift-off, but it never quite achieves that sense of pure and continuous pleasure .." BENEDICT NIGHTINGALE for THE TIMES says, "A visit to the Piccadilly will bring you terrific music, great fun, one or two excellent dance numbers..." LISA MARTLAND for THE STAGE says, "Consistently nice and even joyful but rarely does one get the gut feeling that something exciting is taking place."

Guys and Dolls has music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows. It is directed by Michael Grandage; designed by Christopher Oram; choreography by Rob Ashford, lighting by Howard Harrison; and sound by Terry Jardine and Chris Full.

Brings to life the Broadway of the 1940's, inhabited by gamblers, nightclub performers and members of the Salvation Army, in search of sinners to cure. The score includes numbers as 'Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat', 'Luck Be A Lady Tonight' and 'Take Back Your Mink'.
