A one-off concert performance of Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon's musical The Secret Garden is set to be staged at the London Palladium in April.

Lucie Jones, Jac Yarrow and Ramin Karimloo are set to star in the musical, which will be directed by Nick Winston. Further creatives and casting is set to be announced.

The musical is based on the 1911 musical by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and sees a young British girl who has grown up in India orphaned following an outbreak of cholera and sent to live in Yorkshire to live with family whom she has never met.

The Secret Garden was first seen in London in 2001 when the RSC's production directed by Adrian Noble transferred to the Aldwych Theatre. It returned in 2016 for a revival at the Ambassadors Theatre with a cast of child actors.

Lucie Jones has recently been seen starring in the West End production of Waitress, while Jac Yarrow made his West End debut earlier this year in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Ramin Kamimloo was last seen in the West End in Murder Ballad at the Arts Theatre.

The Secret Garden will play at the London Palladium on 4th April.

The Secret Garden tickets go on sale soon.
