Janie Dee to star in virtual production of ‘All On Her Own’
The one-woman play will be available to stream for a week.
Janie Dee will star in a digital production of Terence Rattigan's All On Her Own, it has been announced. She'll appear in the one-woman play for just eight performances, available to stream from 16 - 21 February.
All On Her Own follows Rosemary, a woman who decides to share her heartbreaking yet stressful situation at midnight in London. Rattigan's drama was originally presented as a television play, broadcast in 1968. It was recently staged at the Garrick Theatre, starring Zoe Wanamaker.
Janie Dee is an Olivier Award-winning actress, recently playing Phyllis Rogers Stone in Follies at the National Theatre. Notable theatre credits include The Boyfriend at Menier Chocolate Factory, Comic Potential, Women of Troy and Carousel.
All On Her Own will be directed by Alastair Knight and feature original music by Lindsey Miller.
Terrence Rattigan has gone down in history as one of Britain's greatest playwrights. Over a writing career spanning four decades, his stage plays include The Winslow Boy, Harlequinade, The Deep Blue Sea and Cause Célèbre.
All On Her Own is available from 16 - 21 February. More information can be found here.
