After last week's announcement of Ronan Keating joining the cast of the West End musical Once this November, another Boyzone star is also set to make his West End debut. Keith Duffy will star in the West End transfer of Theatre503's production of A Handful of Stars, written by Billy Roche and directed by Paul Robinson, which begins performances at Trafalgar Studios 2 on 25 Jun 2014, officially opening on 01 Jul and continuing its limited engagement through to 25 Jul 2014.

Besides being a member of Boyzone and selling over 25 million records with the group, Duffy is also well known for portraying the role of Ciaran in ITV's 'Coronation Street' from 2002-2005 and again from 2010-2011.

The cast of A Handful of Stars also features Brian Fenton, Colm Gormley, Maureen O'Connell, Michael O'Connor, Michael O'Hagan and Ciarán Owens.

Synopsis: 'First performed in 1988, A Handful of Stars created a modern anti-hero in Jimmy Brady. It is set in the Irish town of Wexford where Jimmy rails against the moral corruption around him.'

The creative team features scenic design by Signe Beckmann, lighting by Hartley T A Kemp, and music and sound design by Simon Slater.

The original run of A Handful of Stars took place at the Theatre 503 in Battersea, South London from 30 Apr to 24 May 2014.
