Kevin Bishop stars in Fully Committed at Menier

Kevin Bishop will star in the comedy Fully Committed, written by Becky Mode and directed by Mark Setlock, at the Menier Chocolate Factory, near London Bridge in south-east London, beginning previews on 03 Sep 2014, officially opening on 10 Sep and continuing its limited engagement through to 15 Nov 2014.

Synopsis: ''Resting actor' Sam Peliczowski (Bishop) is in demand... but not for his acting. Instead he mans the red-hot reservation line at Manhattan's number-one eatery and everyone wants a piece of him. As he juggles scheming socialites, name-dropping wannabes, fickle celebrities and an egomaniacal boss, Sam also has to find space to sort out his own life and flagging career.'

The creative team behind Fully Committed features set and costume design by Tim Shortall, lighting by Tim Mascall and sound design by Gareth Fry.

Kevin Bishop has previously appeared on stage in 'Fat Pig' at the Comedy Theatre (now Harold Pinter) and 'The Recruiting Officer' at Chichester Festival Theatre. He is perhaps best known for his television credits - Channel 4's 'The Kevin Bishop Show', the BBC's 'Whites' and 'Super Fun Night' in the USA. He also played the role of Jim Hawkins in 'Muppet Treasure Island'.

Tickets go on general sale on Wed 30 Jul 2014.
