LINDA GRAY TO STAR AS 'MRS ROBINSON' IN THE GRADUATE

60-year-old actress,Linda Gray, best known as 'Sue Ellen' in TV's 'Dallas', is to make her West End stage debut as 'Mrs Robinson' in The Graduate, at the Gielgud Theatre from 1st Oct 01 to 2nd Feb 02. Anne Archer, currently playing 'Mrs Robinson', will leave on 29th Sep 01 at the end of her contract.

Linda Gray is known throughout the world for her portrayel of 'Sue Ellen' in the TV series "Dallas". She has also guest starred in the Aaron Spelling Tv series "Melrose Place" and "Models Inc". Other TV credits include "Lovejoy" with Ian McShane, "Haywire" with Jason Robards, "Not in Front of the Children" with John Lithgow and "Murder in Peyton Place". Her stage credits include "The Vagina Monologues", "Love Letters" and "Agnes of God". Following in the footsteps of the late Audrey Hepburn, she is Ambassador of Goodwill for the United Nations.

The Graduate from Charles Webb's novel and Calder Willingham and Buck Henry's movie screenplay, is adapted by Terry Johnson, who also directs. It is designed by Rob Howell and lighting is by Hugh Vanstone.

The show is currently booking to 2nd Feb 2002.
