"Maria Friedman: By Special Arrangement at New Ambassadors Theatre 22nd to 27th Apr 02

Maria Friedman By Special Arrangement will be at the New Ambassadors Theatre for one week from 22nd to 27th April 02 at 9pm.

This show won an Olivier award for Best Entertainment in 1995 at the the Donmar Warehouse & Whitehall Theatre.

Maria Friedman will perform songs by Gershwin, Bernstein and Sondheim, among others.

Her West End credits include "Chicago", "The Witches Of Eastwick", "The Lady in the Dark", and Sondheim's "Passion".

She is expected to take the lead in a revival of "Funny Girl" either late this year or early next year.
